Presenter Bio:

Adam Janes, CVA (he/him). Adam is a passionate not-for-profit leader with a heart for advocacy, volunteerism and community building.

He is currently the Coordinator of Volunteer Resources at the Ottawa Food Bank, the Vice President of VPMC (Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada), and Co-Chair of OLV (Ottawa Leaders of Volunteers).

Adam has also written/contributed to Engage Journal, CCVA (www.cvacert.org), Volunteer Canada, VMPC, Volunteer Ottawa and Beyond the Bake Sale and works with dozens of organizations on their volunteer management practices.

He lives in Ottawa (the unceded land of the Algonquin/Anishinaabe people) with his amazing wife and three wonderful teens.
