Conflict Resolution Skills: Leading through Challenges
Date: Wednesday, May 16th, 2018
Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Conflict is natural and common within teams. Volunteer managers can be conflict avoidant at times which creates challenges in helping others maneuver through their differences. By learning ways of understanding differing perspectives and how to use conflict resolution skills, we can free up volunteers and staff to focus on more important matters, reduce stress and alleviate tension in our working environments.
During this workshop we will discuss:
How to be the neutral party that enables others to work through conflict.
Methods to identify the underlying needs that when not met result in conflict.
Help your volunteers and staff settle their differences in a respectful manner and watch them become effective communicators and collaborators.
*Please note this webinar will be available through computer audio only.
